The novel in verse follows a 13-year-old girl on vacation with her parents. Her mother tells her a painful secret just before suffering a brain aneurysm rupture, and the family must learn to navigate a difficult new existence.
As a survivor of two ruptured brain aneurysms, just like Emilia Clarke of Game of Thrones fame, I wrote this novel to tell the world you can survive a brain aneurysm! RUPTURED is a work of fiction, but I drew on my own experiences in order to write this book. I'm eager to share it with you.
